This May 2011, Heroes Square launches its weekend tours of Intramuros, a 3-hour tour designed for foreign and local tourists who want to experience history on a different level. Tours are scheduled on 9am-12nn and 1pm-4pm on May 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29
RIZAL@150 EDUCATIONAL TOURS OF INTRAMUROS
For school year 2011-2012, Heroes Square is offering the Rizal@150 Educational Tours of Intramuros as field trip activity for schools in celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal.
The tours are co-curricular enrichment programs intended to instill formative values and not just simply impart information. It aims to give the students a unique and memorable experience of learning our history, within the historic walls of Intramuros that will inspire them to dream of greater possibility for the Philippines.
